DR JOHAN WIGGILL
M.TECH CHIROPRACTIC
Dr Johan Wiggill qualified at Durban University of Technology in the year 2020 with a Masters degree in chiropractic. He is registered with Allied Health Professionals Council of South Africa (AHPCSA) and Chiropractic Association of South Africa (CASA).
He was born in Durban and has a great interest in sport. He was the team medic for Natal Bokkie-week’s rugby, netball and hockey teams for five years. He worked for two years alongside other chiropractors at the collegians rugby club and at various schools as their field side medic. He is a family chiropractor that treats everyone from the age 6 and upwards.
He has a lot of passion for his patient’s general health care and wellbeing and will do the best to help his patients to get them to their optimal health.
DR NIKKI DE BUSSER
M.TECH CHIROPRACTIC (NT); MMED SCI (SPORTS MEDICINE) CUM LAUDE (UKZN)
Dr de Busser qualified as a Chiropractor in 2000 and initially worked in a provincial hospital in Kimberley (KH) for 2 years where she gained a wealth of experience treating patients at the KH day clinic, in hospital patients and at the local and outlying clinics. At the time she was also lucky enough to treat the Griqualand West Cricket Team. After that she moved to Somerset West and worked in an established multidisciplinary practice before returning ‘home’ to Durban in order to specialise in Sports Medicine at the University of KwaZulu Natal (2008).
Since 2006 Dr de Busser has been in private practice in the Musgrave area and last year started a satellite practice from home in Kloof (www.kloofchiropractics.co.za). She has been a part-time lecturer/ clinician at the Chiropractic Department of DUT for 10 years stopping last year owing to her move to Kloof. During this time she was a senior lecturer for subjects including Diagnostics and Clinical Chiropractic (both theory and practical) and has supervised and marked over 40 masters dissertations. Dr de Busser has a family practice treating toddlers to geriatrics and has a special interest in treating the recreational athlete most especially the child and adolescent athletes.
Her interest in injury rehabilitation stems from her own involvement in sport (athletics and karate) and having been plagued by sports injuries as an adolescent. Her treatment approach is holistic and gentle and she uses a range of manipulation (diversified technique) as well as electrical modalities e.g. ultrasound, taping techniques e.g. kinesiotape, dry needling, and basic exercise training to facilitate recovery. The longer she has been in practice the more she has become involved in a branch of medicine called Functional Medicine and so patients are frequently sent for blood tests and nutritional and supplementation advice is given.

DR MICAELA RAVIDUTT
M.TECH CHIROPRACTIC
Dr Micaela Ravidutt qualified in 2022 with a Master’s Degree in Chiropractic at the Durban University of Technology. She is registered with the Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa (AHPCSA) and is a member of the Chiropractic Association of South Africa (CASA).
In 2024, she published a co-authored article in the South African Journal of Physiotherapy on The knowledge, attitudes and perceptions of physiotherapists and chiropractors in South Africa (https://doi.org/10.4102/sajp.v80i1.1922).
Dr Micaela Ravidutt is passionate about improving her patient’s quality of life by providing chiropractic treatment with the aim to reduce pain and restore joint mobility.
JENNY-LYN MACKINTOSH
Jenny-Lyn studied for Diplomas in Holistic Massage, Therapeutic Aromatherapy and Sports Massage. After graduating in December 2004 she started up her practice and has worked mainly in the Musgrave area in Durban, while also having worked on the Bluff and a couple of seasons at a resort in the Central Drakensberg. She is registered with the Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa and is a member of the Massage Therapy Association of South Africa.
She now exclusively practices Therapeutic Massage Therapy treating a variety of people, simply adapting each treatment to the needs of the client using the skills she has studied for and acquired over the years. She has had the privilege of networking with a number of Chiropractors & Psychologists over the years which has afforded her the opportunities to expand her knowledge.
